How to Read Your Bible Every Day
There's many ways to do this. Don't get overwhelmed. Reading a little each day is better than reading nothing.
Do make your ultimate goal to read the whole thing. (Yes, it's possible!) And the more you read, the more you'll understand.
Option 1. Start at the beginning, and read a little each day all the way to the end.
This can help you understand the whole structure of the bible. You’ll get the complete story of Jesus from the beginning (Genesis) to the time to come (Revelation).

Option 2. Read the Old Testament and New Testament in parallel.
It’s a great way to get historical context while immediately being able to read the words of Jesus too.
You can find an Old/New Testament reading plan here.
Option 3. Choose a book of the bible and read it.
This may take one, a few, or many days to complete. Once you’ve finished, choose another book and read it. Read a bit each day until you've read the whole bible. Reading a whole book gives you some context to help make it easier to understand.
You can find a reading plan for the 4 Gospels (they’re a great place to start!) here.
Option 4. Read the verse(s) posted by a bible reading site each day.
To maximize your understanding, take the time to read the whole chapter around that verse. But even if all you read is what they provide, it's better than not reading at all. Do what you can manage.

Pick what suits you best and get started! It’s so worth it to get in the habit of reading daily.
You’ll start to hear the scriptures echo in your head on those bad days and good days, and all the days in between.
They’ll bring you comfort and insight like nothing else does.
