Frankly, you need to set internet boundaries for yourself and your loved ones.

All those notifications?

They're not designed to serve you.

They're there to keep you on your devices so you use more data and see more ads.

We used to have these lovely protections around our personal time. We went home after work and school and during that time only a landline or doorbell could interrupt. And only a real, live human being could make that happen.

It was a gift, and we didn't know it.

Guess what? You can still make it be that way.

Turn off those notifications. They don't serve you.

There's so many ways to make them work for you instead of against.

Put a hedge around your leisure time and watch your happiness grow and your stress shrink.
