Frankly, screens don't belong at meals or where you sleep.

Not for you, and not for your kids.

I know--this is tough. Screens give you a big dopamine hit, and that's hard to resist.

But resist.

That screen is robbing you of connection with people at meal time.

And it has no place in the room where you sleep.

That blue light up in your face right before bed? Bye bye normal sleep patterns! You just told your brain the sun is up when you want it to wind down.

What's really so important that you can't put it away long enough to eat or snuggle in for bed?

Short of a family emergency, there's not. Put it away.

And while you're at it, turn off the tv.
