Frankly, don't over-volunteer yourself.

Just because it's work for the Lord doesn't mean it comes first.

The bible says your first obligation is to Him, then your spouse, and then your kids.

Not your ministry field at church.

So your volunteer work comes AFTER.

And only if you really have time.

Not just physical time.

Mental time.

Church staff should be checking in with their lay volunteers to see if their mental health/marriages are okay.

You should be honest with your church staff and yourself about how you’re doing managing your obligations.

Ministry shouldn't wreck the other parts of your life.

It’s not serving Him if it is.
